It’s been so much fun to share more of my images from last year on social media. I’m glad I took my time to hone my editing skills more before putting my work out to the world. I’m able to make my images more of what I want them to be than I could have a year ago. Maybe I’ll feel the same next year!
So, I’ve been trying to keep from asking myself “what’s next?” but it seems that opportunities just present themselves and all I have to do is say “yes”! Here’s what I’m saying “yes” to right now:
Continued Practice. My plan was to wander the Hill Country this spring looking for bluebonnet fields to photograph. It turns out that my front yard has an extraordinary bloom this year so all I have to do is say “yes” to picking up my camera to shoot them. And I am!!!

Sharing. This weekend I am attending a virtual photography conference with presentations from amazing photographers. When the organizers put out a call for attendees to volunteer to give a short presentation of their own, I said YES! So, I and actually doing that today in a few hours and I’m excited AND a little nervous. Lot’s of people have been sending me encouraging messages and it is nice to know I’ll have some “cheerleaders” watching. It’s titled: We’re Better than we Believe: a beginning photographer’s tale. My run-throughs have been good so unless there is a technical glitch, I’m sure I’ll do great.
Learning. My husband and I have been using life coaches to work on our minds and have learned so much about ourselves in the process. It’s the main reason I was able to complete an impossible goal. He actually signed up to become a certified life coach BUT decided he wanted to wait a bit to take on the time commitment. Sooooo..I am taking his place! I’m excited to learn more about myself and am hoping to help others do the same in the future. Stay tuned for that because I’m going need some people willing to be ginuea pigs;).
That’s it!!! More good stuff coming soon!
